Privacy Policy

Calendar @ Elks Lodge is a public calendar of the events on the Palo Alto Elks Lodge #1471 website. Anyone can use it without signing in.

What we collect

If you don't sign in, nothing about you: the calendar sets no cookies and doesn't ask for your name, email address or any other personal information.

Signing in is optional, for people who use the lodge's other apps. It sets the sign-in cookie those apps share, which holds your name and email address, and is used only to show your account and your other lodge apps.

When you subscribe, the lodge saves the event types you picked and when that set was first saved, so the same set always has the same address. Nothing about who subscribed is saved, and everyone who picks the same types shares one address.

Other services

The calendar is hosted on Google Cloud, which keeps standard request logs, such as the address a request came from, for running and protecting the service. Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts and event pictures from the lodge website's host, Wix. The Google Calendar button opens Google, and a calendar app you subscribe in fetches the feed under that app's own privacy policy.
